Shared 9 × 12 mailer
Share one postcard with 15 other local businesses
Direct mail works, and a card this size works better than most. What stops small businesses using it is the bill for one card of their own. So sixteen businesses go on one card and split that bill sixteen ways. One business per category, so a competitor is never printed beside you.

Put in your website and we will draft something for you to look at.
Add an offer below. Websites almost never list one, and the offer is what gets someone to keep the card instead of tossing it.
This is a first draft put together from your website, meant to show you how the space works. Nothing here is final. We rework the wording, swap the photo, and match your brand with you before anything goes to print, and you approve the artwork first.
Only one business per category runs on a card, so a trade is closed for the whole card once it is taken.

How it works
Four steps from a phone call to a mailbox
- 01
Claim your spot
Pick large, medium or small, and claim your category before another business in it does.
- 02
Send your offer
Email your logo and the offer you want printed. A coupon or a flat discount both pull well on a card this size.
- 03
Approve the proof
We design your ad and send a proof of the full card. Nothing goes to press until you sign off.
- 04
It hits mailboxes
The card ships on the carrier routes we select, to every address the mail carrier already walks.
Ad sizes
Three sizes, one to a category
Every size covers the same things. What changes is how much room your offer gets, and how hard the card leads with you.

Sizes are printed width by height and are the same in every market. What a spot costs depends on how many households the mailing covers, so the exact price is on your county's page.
Why a spot costs this little
Sixteen businesses carry a mailer none of them would send alone
Design, printing, postage and the carrier routes cost close to the same whether one business is on a 9 by 12 card or sixteen are. Splitting that bill is what turns direct mail from a project most small businesses skip into a line item you can approve in an afternoon.
The size of the card is the other half of it. A 9 by 12 does not get sorted into a stack of envelopes. It gets carried into the house on top of the mail, and your offer is on it.
- The design of your ad, built from your logo and your offer
- Full color printing on both sides of the card
- The postage to mail it
- Your category held against every other business in it
No competitors on your card
One business per category. Every trade we sell is closed once it is claimed for that mailing.

Not your county
We open a county once enough businesses in it want a card. Tell us where you are and what you do, and you get first look at the categories when one is scheduled.

Tell us where you want a card
This is not a reservation and it does not cost anything. It is how we decide which county gets a card next, and how you hear about it before the categories open up.
Email hello@mainstreetpostcards.com with your business, your trade, and the county you want mailed. We will tell you when a card is scheduled for your area, and you get first look at the categories before they open up.
Questions
Before you get in touch
Which homes get the card
Every address on the carrier routes we select, rather than a purchased list. That is what makes a card this size affordable to send, and it is why we sell by county: the routes are the product, so the county is the unit.
Can I be the only business in my trade
Yes. Categories are exclusive and go in the order they are claimed. Once a category is taken it is closed for that mailing.
Do I need artwork ready to go
No. Send your logo and the offer you want printed, we design the ad, then send a proof of the full card for your approval. Nothing goes to press until you sign off.
How does payment work
You reserve a spot at no cost. We confirm your category is open, then send an invoice you can pay by card or bank transfer. Payment is due before we start designing.
What should I put on the card
An offer, not an advertisement. A coupon, a discount or a first visit deal all pull well on a card like this, because they give someone a reason to keep it on the counter until they need you.
Who is behind this
We publish community guides and run shared mailers for local businesses. Email hello@mainstreetpostcards.com and you will reach a person.
